Writer's Resume

Victoria Q. Legg is a writer of short general non-fiction, creative non-fiction and short fiction. She thoroughly enjoys her work for its marvelous blend of analytic and imaginative skill.

Currently, Victoria is editor and a regular contributor for a Bay Area non-profit newsletter which uniquely focuses on parent education for high school and middle school aged children. She is a feature writer for a second education based newsletter. Victoria teaches creative writing to middle and high school aged children.

Victoria is an Advisory Council Member for the Parents Coalition for Bay Area High School Students. She recently served as Investment Committee chair and board trustee for St. Luke's Hospital Foundation Board. For seven years, she was a Cook Captain preparing meals to serve 150 homeless shelter residents. Victoria's diverse talents have also been tapped as Auction Chair and board member for a private school in San Francisco.

In 1977, Victoria graduated from a small liberal arts college with honors, majoring in Urban Studies. She obtained her MBA in 1984. Prior to 2000 when she committed to developing her skills in the visual arts and the written word, Victoria concentrated her efforts first with corporate employers and later with a boutique law firm.

Between 1977 and 2000, Victoria's writing emphasized her acumen in strategic business problem resolution. Experience includes editorial oversight of human resources communications, new business proposals and business development plans tailored to upper management and financial loan markets.
